Every article receives a bias rating on a five-point scale: left, center-left, center, center-right, right. The rating is determined by AI content analysis of language, framing, and sourcing patterns.
At the topic level, we show the full bias spectrum — how many articles lean left vs. right — and calculate a “bias divergence score” that indicates how polarized the coverage is.
